Draft Schedule of the NZKF Winter Camp hosted by Hutt Kendo Club, Naenae College, Lower Hutt (To be fully confirmed at the seminar)

All online information available can be found on www.huttkendo.org.nz.

Note: The cost of the seminar will be $70 and this does include lunches and dinner on Saturday night.

Friday August 13:
Registration from 6pm - 8 pm at main Naenae College Hall.
Gi-geiko between 7 - 8 pm, all welcome

Saturday August 14:
8 - 9 am - AGM of the NZKF in the main hall of Naenae college, NB Ensure
club reps come to this meeting
9.15 - 1pm - Opening and morning session
Noon - 1 pm - Lunch
1 - 5pm - Afternoon session

7pm - All gather at Avalon Pavilion for evening meal and Karaoke experience (prizes for exceptional talent!)

Sunday August 15:
8.30 - 11am: Grading 3 kyu - 4th dan in main hall;
grading under 3 kyu in smaller hall.
11 - 12.30: Morning seminar session
12.30 - 1.30 - lunch
1.30 - 3 pm - afternoon session
3pm - Closing Ceremony and announcement of grades
4pm Seminar ended.

On Sunday night there will be a farewell party for the Sensei at a home in
the Hutt or Wellington, to be advised

Fortunately, we will have enough senior grades for two grading panels to be working in our two dojo spaces. So club leaders note, we will have a grading panel grading 0-kyu to 4th kyu in the small dojo and another panel grading 3 kyu to 4th dan in the main dojo on the Sunday morning of the Camp.

The registration details for the camp will include a club grading list for you to register names for these gradings.

Hi all,

This is just a friendly reminder to all those wishing to secure
accommodation in the Marae at $10 per person, per night. The Marae is
about 100 metres from the dojo and a 5 minute walk to the evening
dinner venue.

Please let me know if you require accommodation, either by posting it
here, or sending me an email to anita.davies@esr.cri.nz.
