Announcement from the coach of the National Squad:

Greetings to one and all.

The NZ Kendo team recently participated in the 13th World Kendo Championships in Taiwan. The teams did very well and can be proud of their efforts.

At the most recent NZKF AGM held in Invercargill, I was given the responsibility of writing a report on the above mentioned championships and formulating a process that is to be followed between championships by the NZKF.

I am asking for people to submit any ideas they may wish to contribute to the formulation of this process or any other ideas they may wish to contribute.

I will commence the writing of the 'Process' on the 12th January 07 with a view to having it ready for the executive on 15th January. Consequently people who wish to make a contribution need to do so prior to the above mentioned date.

I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone in the Federation a merry Xmas and a happy new year.

All those who made a contribution to the team getting to, and participating in the Worlds I wish to thank you very much. I am aware of lots of people making a lot of sacrifices to make it happen.
